Helped with shin pain caused by another shoe

As a runner, I started to get shin splints while wearing a newly purchased pair of Asics gel Kayano 18 sneakers (even with orthodics!). I would switch to my old pair of Saucony Grid Cohesion 3's and voila, no shin pain! So I decided to try a pair of these Saucony Grid Cohesion 5's, and lo and behold, no shin pain!!! Tried my Asics again, and had shin pain. So I am now married to Saucony for life! :) I just hope they don't change anything about their Grid Cohesion line. They are perfect! I tend to overpronate, and have a low to med arch, and I did place an orthodic in these, and it feels great. There is also more toe room than in Asics, so I did not need a wide width. But I would suggest going up 1/2 size in any running shoe. Just love these - I can run forever in them!

Love at first run!

I have spent hundreds of dollars on running shoes and spent over $150 on my last pair of Asics. Although they were a great pair of shoes, I needed something lighter. I did a lot of research and was surprised to find that these shoes had good reviews for the cost. I just purchased the shoes and took my first run in them the same day they arrived. I often struggle with shin splints and minor knee pain, but these left me pain free and I ran the fastest 4 miles I've ever done in training. The next day I am still pain free and cannot wait for future runs with these. They really are the best shoes I own for running! Going to be another pair later this week. If you're considering buying these, do it!

Excellent for long shifts

I'm a nurse at a very busy acute care hospital where the rooms are spread out and the floors are concrete. I was using crocs clogs crocs Women's Mercy Work Clog which I love and still wear sometimes, however I didn't feel like the were very secure if I needed to hustle or run in an emergency situation. Most sneakers have let me down, and I have three barely worn pairs that never cut the mustard. I did some research on the Saucony site about my gait and bought these with my fingers crossed. They have been great! Good cushioning and support, and very breathable so my feet don't get hot. I've had these about 3 months so far and they are holding up really well.
