awesome shoe!

i wasn't sure about a minimalist shoe,but i wanted a new experience and wasn't disappointed! i absolutely love this shoe. the fit was perfect. i wear 11.5 and it was spot on! there is just enough room by the toes so that none touch eachother or the side of the shoe and there is a lot of support in the footbed, it is very cushy,in fact.i wore this shoe barefoot,fyi. i bought it in the gray/orange combo,which is a fun color to run in! i definitely recommend this shoe!

Fabulous fit and comfort - the best shoe for my foot problems

I ordered this shoe after reading a huge number of reviews on this and many similar products. I had to send the first pair back due to a seam problem, and I did end up with a half size larger than my normal running shoe size (I am a 9.5 or 10 street shoe, always a 10 in running shoes, and the 10.5 in these was perfect). I have a narrow heel and a wide forefront, and these are a great fit for me. They are lighter than air and make you feel like you have springs on your feet. I have suffered from plantar fasciitis for years and these are the first shoes I've owned that allow me to run WITHOUT experiencing pain after running. My theory is that the minimalist heel lift stretches the plantar fascia naturally as you run, which helps reduce the pain. It works for me, that's certain. Since this was my first pair of this type of shoe, I built up slowly. You will feel your hamstrings more than usual. I actually put my old favorite trail runners on after wearing these for several weeks and I felt like I was tipped forward on stilts. I have not worn them since. These are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I use them for running, hiking and just general purpose, as they are far superior to anything else in my closet. If I am experiencing Plantar fasciitis pain, I wear them for a while around the house and the pain disappears. They are great for travel as they weigh mere ounces. My only complaint is that winter is nearly here and these will definitely not get me through the colder months and weather on the trails due to the materials of the uppers. I wish they made a winter version. I may buy NB WT20 V2s for that purpose, but I know I will miss my Brooks.

These shoes were my transition to a more natural running shoe. Took some gettingused to but I love them- I doubt I will ever buy anything but Brooks ever again!
