My favorite pair so far!

I've been using Brook's runnIng shoes for years--my favorite ones were discontinued (I bought a few backup pairs in case something like that happened) so when I wore those out I had to search for a new pair of favorites. Believe me--I went through several before I tried these--but now I don't need to look any further...lightweight, great support, ventilation, no break-in needed...using the Brooks shoe-fitting guide on their website is a must--not all feet are the same and it's hard enough buying shoes online without trying them on--particularly when they cost a little more than department store shoes--but believe me, you'll be glad you did!

LOVE at first RUN

Used to run in Ghost 4's and ordered the newer Ghost 5's - absolutely HATED them!! Almost switched brands until I found Defyacne 5's. WOW!! First time I put them on, I ran 15 miles with EASE! Can't beat the cushion, arch support and light weight! LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes!!

So far love them

I just got these a few days ago. Been running since January using walking shoes. Knew I had to upgrade to running shoes if I wanted to make any progress. I am training for a couple of 5k runs in NYC coming up in a couple of months. These shoes weigh almost nothing and feel like they provide sufficient ventilation. When I wear them, I feel like running. I actually did make a lot of progress in my training since I've worn these. Although I got minor blisters at the achilles tendon area. I think it's the socks I was wearing. Need to change to non-cotton socks. I will update my review in a month or so to let you know if I still love these.
