Recently I developed plantar fascitis in my left foot. This left me with a really sore arch and inflamed tendon every day after work. The Keen shoes I had were stylish but did not absorb shock from walking on hard floors that well. These Brooks were exactly what I needed. I would give them 5 stars but the laces were too short. I had to skip the top eyelets to make a decent knot. All in all, these Brooks Walking Shoes are a great option for those that can't wear tennis shoes at work.

These are the only shoes I find comfortable and long wearing. My shoe size when I joined the Marines, 64 years ago, was 6 1/2 EEEE. While some of the European shoes are great, they do not come in widths. So, this order is to replace a pair which are bit too big since I switched out of heavy socks. The order was prompt.

Shoe is built well but a bit snug for my tastes. I will use then occasionally but will stick with the Addiction Walkers from now on.
